The first Azerbaijan spearfishing championship!

Well, the first Azerbaijan spearfishing championship has finally happened!
On Saturday morning the spearfishers, along with the land-based support crew, gathered on Artyom Island, around 40 participants in all. There were enough boats, and everyone, including some of the fans, was taken out to Tereshkina Island. The water around the island was mostly murky, and in the spots where there was underwater visibility you could clearly see there was no fish there))) According to the old hands, all the fish were holding in the murk at depth. On the first day most participants didn't manage not only to take a fish, but even to see a single one. The second day of the competition was more productive, since the qualifying weight for mullet was lowered from 800 g to 500 g. There were fish, but only in the murk and at depth.
The winner of the competition was a spearfisher who took 4 carp averaging 4 kg each. And he took them on the second day. Second place went to our forum member Nemo!!! In the team standings, third place went to the team Gentlemen of Fortune, which also included our forum member Esen.

It's worth noting that the fish were hard-earned, they were at depth and in murky water!!
