Sazhevaya

Last Sunday the weather was unusually good and relatively calm. Considering the mess going on with the weather this year, and for this time of year, Sunday's weather was just a perfect chance to get out somewhere. A buddy in "misfortune" called and suggested going to Sazhevaya (ZGO). So we hopped in and went. Big fat mullet were cruising in the clear water, getting our fishing blood up. But we didn't have any sea worms to deal with those hooligans. And the mullet at Sazhevaya are tasty because of how clear the water is.

The task was to find some shrimp. They were offering a jar for 10 manat. My buddies didn't want to shell out for shrimp because of the price. I get it. A jar for 10 Euro is way too expensive. But I realized bread wasn't going to cut it here. Paid 5 manat and bought half a jar. They also tipped us off there that the fish would start biting later on. When we got there it was 12 noon. Around 3 o'clock I pulled out a beauty of a kutum weighing 1 kg. An hour later another one, about 400 g. Then I see the other anglers are starting to "surround" me -))). Everyone decided to cast where I was casting. So instead of fish I kept pulling out other people's lines and sinkers. In the end it came to just three kutum. Thank the Lord for that much!!!.
