Finally, at long last, they decided to take me out into nature, and to go mushroom picking at that. Getting up early, I grabbed a bucket, a knife, tea, and headed out of town with my neighbour. The road to Shamakhi, I'll tell you straight, is not the best, it's completely wrecked, leaving the city is like leaving besieged Stalingrad. For about 20 km the road is awful, then things start to clear up. First, after asking a local shepherd where to pick mushrooms, we turned off onto a dirt road. But apparently someone had beaten us to it, so we didn't gather many mushrooms. Then, after driving another 5 km, we saw locals briskly trading mushrooms, and that's where we decided to turn off to the right side of the road towards the local cemetery. Finally, at long last, luck was waiting for us in the form of a couple of buckets of champignons. And note that 0.5 kg of mushrooms was going for 5 manat, so we fully paid off the petrol, see the photos.
