Girdimanchay (Kurdamir)

The place was unexplored for us, we just found out it exists - so we up and went... And we literally stopped 100 m short of the little lake with the carp. We'll get back there sometime... The catch was 1 catfish of 300 g + 1 catfish of 1 kg that came off while being pulled onto the bank. We fished with hanging rigs, on frogs and worms. By the way, the Shirvan canal runs under (!) this river and if you want you can fish both waters at once, there's about 150 m between them. (Shirvan canal is in the photo with the cows) Additional info: Driving along the river for 15-20 km you can get to the Kura, and after crossing the river (there are several crossings) and turning left there's a way through the villages to Sabirabad.
