Canals out Salyan way

Scouting the canals in Kursangi, Yenikend and Shirvan was very sad - nothing except a few roach and a maimed half-dead little carp (presumably electrofishers had been through). As practice shows, fishing out in the regions is more and more like roulette in a casino every time - it seems like everything's on your side (season, weather, mood, baits etc.), but the house always wins (the local poachers). The little carp in Yenikend floated up to the surface and was greedily gulping air. It looked like it had escaped from the Germans after being tortured...
