Caspian - Mordovka

My beloved Mordovka!
Too bad I'm not a poet, otherwise I'd write a couple of verses about this place. For some reason it keeps drawing me back. Even when you know there probably won't be any fish today, you still want to go dive and admire all the beauty of the Mordovka reef.
Lately Ramil (Diver, a.k.a. Diversant) and I have been visiting this wonderful little spot a lot. Since we both work on ZGO grounds, it's really convenient for us to head straight from work to our beloved fishy spots and swim for a couple of hours just for the fun of it. So, one of those days. Right when we got there we ran into a spearfisher coming out of the water with some pretty good, respectable mullet. What cheered us up was that we'd leave the small fry alone today and look for decent specimens. We found them, but oh, were they skittish and quick. Underwater visibility wasn't bad, 3-4 meters, you could say working visibility - just right for our 75 guns. But unfortunately I didn't manage to get those monsters I saw. And all because I still can't hold my breath all that long, plus my ear has been acting up a lot lately. But still, the hunt was a great success. By my standards it was a pretty decent catch.
As for our Diver, he's a whole other story. He manages to get fish even when you don't see a single fish in 4 hours of swimming. By the way, a couple of days ago he took part in filming material for a spearfishing show with Alexander Kochubey. I think many of you know him. And I was lucky enough to meet him and his charming wife.
We'll be waiting for our Diver to show up on screen.
