The KURA River

The weather was just lovely. Everything pointed to a good catch. We set up by the river channel and started casting our spinning rods. The current in the Kura is pretty strong, as everyone knows, so we had to hang sinkers of over 80 grams. Settled in the shade of a willow hanging its branches down, my neighbour pulled out a small catfish of about 500-600 grams. An hour later (that was my first and last fish that day) I pulled out a barbel of about 450-500 grams. All in all, the Kura River is a wonderful place for relaxing and fishing, and by the way the hunting here is great too. Good fishing and hunting to everyone this year!
