Roughly around the Shirvan canal and the village of Kursangi

I'm writing about two trips at different times and to different places. The 1st trip was on September 20, overnight. Along the Shirvan canal, about 15 km, to the old bridge. We went with our own live bait. At night we rigged it on the throw lines and spinning rods. We ran around all night checking them, but the result was just 2 small catfish, one 1 kg, the other 1.5. In the morning we decided to go to the canals, and there things got livelier. Result: our friend got 8 pike, we got fewer, 5 pike. The 2nd trip was on Sunday, October 4, around the village of Kursangi. Unfortunately, after the recent rains we couldn't drive very far. But we still didn't go home without a catch. Of course the catch was more modest compared to the previous trips, but it was still nice. Our friend got 5 pike. We got 3 pike, bigger than his, 2 kg each, and one 2.5 kg. And we were fishing with live bait, while he was using a spinnerbait.
