Peschany (Zigh, Hovsan)

These spots, popular with local anglers, are famous for plenty of mullet, kutum and shemaya. There are other fish too of course, but these are the most common. And of course the sea worms — lots of anglers come here specifically for them. Usually it's practically impossible to catch nothing here. One of my friends cast a spinning rod for the very first time right here and caught his first mullet on the very first try. And me too, by the way — I got hooked on fishing right here and pulled out my first fish right here as well.
You'll get good fishing if you cross over to the little islands in the sea nearby — you can wade along the old washed-out road or take a boat. From the shore it's better to fish to the left of the checkpoint, because on the right the water is, to put it mildly, not exactly clean.
On the negative side, unfortunately, I have to mention the poachers, who are already everywhere in Az, with their kilometer-long nets — they live and "work" right on the shore, 100 meters on either side of the "Gum adasy" checkpoint. Otherwise it's the same as everywhere else.
