Kazakhstan, Almaty, Kapchagay

Hello dear fellow anglers! I was in Kazakhstan not long ago, got invited fishing, they have the Kapchagay lake there, they actually consider it a sea! I was just told there are catfish, barbel, roach almost no different from ours, zander, asp and snakehead! Mostly I was really curious to see the snakehead, they said it's a very toothy and feisty critter, too bad I can't show you its teeth, but I saw them myself and I can tell you one thing - not a sight for the faint-hearted, it'll take your fingers off no problem! I snapped them in the net, afraid of losing a finger!
