Windy weather expected in Azerbaijan in June

Windy weather will prevail in Azerbaijan in June. According to Umayra Taghiyeva, deputy director of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, frequent northerly winds are expected throughout the month. The average monthly air temperature will be close to the climatic norm. However, it is possible that on some days in the second half of the month the average daily air temperature will be slightly above the norm. Monthly precipitation will be close to the climatic norm, and slightly above the norm in some areas of the Greater Caucasus. In June, the average monthly air temperature in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula will be 22-24 degrees above zero, which is close to the climatic norm. At night – 14-19, during the day – 25-29 degrees above zero, and on some days the temperature will rise to 32-37 degrees. Precipitation will be close to the climatic norm (norm 4-12 mm).
In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the average monthly air temperature will be 22-25 degrees above zero, which is also close to the climatic norm. At night 13-18, during the day 26-31 degrees above zero are expected, and on some days the air temperature will rise to 35-38 degrees. Monthly precipitation will be close to the norm (norm – 21-35 mm).
In Upper Karabakh – Khankendi, Kalbajar, Khojavend, Zangilan, Gubadli, Shusha, Khojaly, Lachin, Dashkasan – Gadabay, the average monthly air temperature in June will be 14-18 degrees above zero, which is close to the climatic norm. At night 9-14, during the day 18-23 degrees above zero are expected, and on some days the temperature will rise to 25-28 degrees. Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm – 86-130 mm).
In Gazakh-Ganja, Goranboy, Naftalan, Tartar, Aghdam-Fuzuli-Jabrayil, the average monthly air temperature will be 20-23 degrees above zero, which is close to the climatic norm. At night – 12-17, during the day – 24-29 degrees above zero, and on some days the temperature will rise to 34-37 degrees. Precipitation for the month will be close to the climatic norm (norm – 46-63 mm).
In Balakan-Shaki-Zagatala-Gabala, Shamakhi-Ismayilli, Khizi, Siyazan, Guba-Gusar-Khachmaz, the average monthly air temperature will be 19-21 degrees above zero, which is also close to the climatic norm. At night 12-16, during the day 22-25 degrees above zero are expected, and on some days the temperature is expected to rise to 28-33 degrees. Precipitation for the month will be in line with the climatic norm (norm – 18-179 mm), and slightly above the norm in places
In Central Aran – Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Kurdamir, Imishli, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Saatli, Bilasuvar, Salyan, Neftchala – the average monthly air temperature will be 24-26 degrees above zero, which is close to the climatic norm. At night 16-21, during the day 27-32 degrees above zero are expected, and on some days – 35-38 degrees above zero. Monthly precipitation will be close to the climatic norm (norm – 12-50 mm), and slightly above the norm in places.
In Masalli-Lankaran-Astara-Lerik-Yardimli, the average air temperature in June will be 21-24 degrees above zero, which is close to the climatic norm. At night 13-18, during the day 25-28 degrees above zero are expected, and on some days the air temperature will rise to 33-36 degrees. Precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm – 29-47 mm).
