The town of Khanlar will be renamed Goygol

The Standing Toponymic Commission of the Parliament of Azerbaijan today discussed renaming Khanlar and the village of Yekakhana in the Gobustan district.
According to "Novosti-Azerbaijan", the commission proposed renaming the village of Yekakhana to Gadirli, and Khanlar to Goygol.

It should be noted that earlier, after the question of renaming the town of Khanlar was considered in the Milli Majlis commission, the name Javadkhan was offered to the public, but the residents of Khanlar insist on the name Goygol.
