Olympic complex under construction in Astara

[INTRO]In 2009, construction of a new Olympic complex will be completed in the Astara district of Azerbaijan.[/INTRO]

The Olympic complex is being built 3.5 km from the district center.

Construction is being carried out according to a design by the "Azermemarlayihe" institute. The territory of the Olympic complex will cover 4.67 hectares, and modern sports facilities will be built here.

Laying of the foundation has already been completed. Construction of the building itself will begin soon, and it is planned to be finished by the end of 2009.

In addition to sports facilities and grounds, 7 four-person cottages and a two-story hotel will be built here.
