Nargin Island to become a modern tourist centre on the Caspian

Several foreign companies are ready to invest in developing tourist infrastructure on Nargin Island in the Bay of Baku.

It is expected that ultra-modern hotels, entertainment centres, shops, cafes, restaurants and other facilities will be built on the island. According to informed sources, the foreign companies' proposals are under consideration by the country's government.

A sea taxi service will operate from the seaside boulevard to connect the island with Baku. According to the same sources, once the island has been redeveloped it will attract large numbers of tourists in summer.
