Ministry of Ecology unhappy with the work of "Bakıelektrikşəbəkə"

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has sent a message to the Baku City Executive Authority pointing out a violation committed by "Bakıelektrikşəbəkə" OJSC.

As 1news.az was told by the ministry's press service, during inspections Ministry of Ecology staff found that in Səbail district, at 57 Neftchilar Avenue, an area especially prone to landslides had been fenced off ahead of construction works. The total area of the fenced plot is about 110 sq.m.

Investigations carried out by ministry staff established that a "Bakıelektrikşəbəkə" electrical substation is planned to be built on the fenced-off territory.

The ministry has sent an appeal to the Baku City Executive Authority stating that any construction on this territory is inadvisable and that the fence must be removed.

The fenced-off area has been placed under observation.
