In April the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan collected fines totaling 16 thousand manats

For violations of environmental legislation identified in April during raids by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, 63 reports and 5 administrative protocols were drawn up.
This was reported by "Novosti-Azerbaijan" citing a statement from the MENR press service.

The statement says that claims totaling 16838,56 manats were filed under the 63 reports, and fines totaling 3 575 manats were imposed under the 5 protocols.

It should be noted that the raids were carried out in the Masallı, Lənkəran, Lerik, Cəlilabad, Biləsuvar, Astara and Yardımlı districts

Regarding the violations in Lənkəran, an appeal was submitted to the Lənkəran District Prosecutor's Office, where an investigation is currently under way.
