Hailstones 3-4 cm in diameter fell in the Gədəbəy district. As deputy head of the local executive authority Gudrat Pashayev reported, the hail began yesterday at 15:00 and lasted 20 minutes. As a result, the roofs of 70% of houses in the district were damaged. In addition, damage was done to farms in the district centre, as well as in the villages of Düzyurd, Qaradağ, Söyüdlü, Ərtəpə, Şəkərbağı, Arıxdam and Gərgər. The district emergency commission is currently determining the extent of the damage.
