Another round of "bird flu" monitoring has begun

Another round of "bird flu" monitoring on the territory of Azerbaijan began on 10 March.

As the State Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported, specialists from the Ministries of Ecology and Natural Resources and of Health will also take part in the monitoring, which will be carried out on the Absheron Peninsula, in the national parks and reserves of the Salyan, Dəvəçi, Ağcabədi and Lənkəran districts, and also in the country's coastal zones.

To recall, six rounds of monitoring were carried out last year, and they did not detect the presence of the virus in the country.
