Aeroflot to offer veterans free flights

[INTRO]In May, the airline "Aeroflot – Russian Airlines" is holding a campaign for veterans called "To the Places of Military Glory".[/INTRO]

It will run from May 5 to 29 and is dedicated to the 63rd anniversary of the victorious end of the Great Patriotic War. For the eighth year, Aeroflot is giving thousands of veterans – participants of the Great Patriotic War, survivors of the Siege of Leningrad, former prisoners of fascism, disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War – the opportunity to fly free of charge on regular Aeroflot flights to any destination in the Russian Federation and destinations in Europe (Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, Croatia, Austria, the Czech Republic), as well as from destinations in the CIS/Baltic countries to the Russian Federation.

The campaign will apply to veterans (participants) and disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in the CIS countries and the Baltic republics formerly part of the USSR (hereinafter – the Baltic countries), and/or who are citizens of the respective countries.

A ticket issued under the terms of this campaign is valid for one month.
