ZGO (near) Hunting with a "lure decoy"!

Sunday morning. After a working week, getting up is really hard. But the SEA is calling, and you feel it with every fiber of your being, and the adrenaline slowly rises in your body in anticipation of the HUNT. Well, here we are at the sea, conditions for hunting are excellent - north wind 3 m, underwater visibility 2-4 meters, water temperature 27-28, air 32. Guns (2 pneumatic ones), trident or single tip, depending on the hunt, + a "lure decoy" à la IgorKIL (experimental version - made to look like a kilogram "mullet" for ambush hunting). The hunt began. Having set up the "decoy" at a more or less promising spot, we started waiting for prey. First the small fry came, around 300-400 grams, curiously checking out the "dummy". But of course we didn't touch them and waited for the big ones. In ambush hunting patience is very important, and as little movement as possible. A person literally becomes a part of the environment around him, and that's no small thing for a spearfisher. The big fish showed up unexpectedly, but they were in no hurry to swim up to the decoy and passed by at a distance out of shooting range. Every now and then Igor turned to me, and written all over his face was "WHEN? WHEN". "Calm, just stay calm", though my own hands were already itching to shoot the very first fish that swam up. And then it started, after a 20-minute wait. In literally 1.5 hours we took about 30 mullet, changing the ambush spot once. Even though it was my first time hunting with a decoy, I really enjoyed this particular method of hunting. And then we split up and started hunting on our own. At one spot I was really upset, upset because right under my nose, in the shallows where the water was 50 cm deep, "blockheads" weighing by eye about 2 kg were cruising around. And there was no way to get them. But I won't end this report on a sad note. Spearfishing, in my opinion, is improvisation, it's like the melody of good music that we compose in harmony with nature!
