The Spring (Shixov)

Hi fishermen....yesterday I was at the spring at shixov...haven't fished there in a long time ...and that was a mistake....anyway at 7 am we got to the spring ...the highly respected oil company closed off the road to the pier there too ...well we've been through worse...pumped up the boat and started rowing to the sunken barge...got there without any adventures...all ok everyone climbed onto the barge except me and Vitka our old friend Alakhverdi was already sitting there ....cool guy and a good fisherman i must say...we hauled the boat up and basically cast .....by 9 am people had started showing up....and we got nothing ....zerooo.....anyway we were casting spinning rods with crab and with bread ...people came and started with little spinning rods 2.80----3.20 m ...while our rods went up to 5 meters ...they cast with crust and haul in fish like crazy ...and we watch and are happy for them))))but inside our hearts are aching ...long story short we sat till 9 in the evening ...only Vitka caught 1 fish and that's it ...oh forgot i caught one too ....a little herring about 20 cm....mostly the guys were catching little pencil ones ...but a couple of times one guy landed one somewhere around 1 kg ...so now I made myself a little spinning rod with a 40 gram sinker with number 5 hooks ...planning either after work or on sunday to go and get revenge on those little kutum ......strictly biting on crust ....the guys there caught minimum 5 maximum 15 kg of fish ....i want that tooooooooooo
