The roach are coming, no, not coming, pouring in....

It all started long before spring. Back in autumn Tolstyy began asking his friend in Minsk to bring him some tackle that's rare in Baku.

And so the Treasured SMALL box was ceremoniously handed over to Igor on Sunday.Inside were small, white, disgusting MAGGOTS.And so I, Tolstyy and another really good friend of ours went off to try our fishing luck.

I was convinced once again that a Chevrolet handles mud really well, and those 6 km we spent churning through the slush proved it yet again. A nasty drizzle was falling with a northerly wind. The water in the canal had risen so that fishing wasn't very convenient, the tackle kept snagging on the reeds.

They were biting…No, not biting – the catch was just insane. When every one of your hooks has little roach and vimba of 150-200 grams thrashing on it, that's a real celebration. Each of us caught a small catfish (to be honest, I thought they were asleep).My arms already hurt (smart me brought a 6-meter rod), and the fish keep pouring in. So that's how it went, crying and fishing. Fishing and crying :-). This bacchanalia went on until we ran out of bait. The rest is in the photos, my thoughts are all jumbled from the excitement. :-( Result: 13 kg of fish for the three of us.(within the limit, by the way ;-) )

Guys, maybe somebody knows where they sell maggots around here?
