Shamakhi Shaki Zagatala Khaldan Ismayilli

Basically I'd long dreamed of going to Zagatala for trout.Got up at 6 in the morning and drove off.Around 8 I was already at the reservoir in Shamakhi.caught about 20 palm-sized crucians.by the way, a note for spearfishers, the water was very clear.next I moved on toward Shaki.stopped along the road and took a break, cooked fish soup from the crucians, ate and slept a bit.got to Shaki but it was already too late to go to the lake.slept in the car and went to the lake in the morning.nothing was biting on the lake, but at the dam the bite was decent, got rudd, shemaya and bleak, mostly small, palm-sized.visibility on that lake is excellent too.next I went on to Zagatala.in the rivers, or more like streams, I got little trout the size of a finger.the locals said up in the mountains there are ones up to a kilo, but since I don't know the area I decided not to go poking around there for now.plus my car isn't an off-roader.on the way back I stopped at the canal near the Mingachevir reservoir.caught 3 small zander at 400g each .then I stopped in Ismayilli but there are no big fish in the lake.only got bleak the size of a sprat.the whole lake is full of nets, plus the local guys are running around with lift nets .anyway, at 8 in the evening I set off home.I was home at 2 at night.
