Past Salyan, Mughan canal, small little canals

We started getting ready for the fishing trip back on Saturday. We caught live bait at Balakhani... at Binagadi... at Lake Balajary, then all night and on the road too we kept oxygenating the water. But still, out of 40 baitfish only 20 were left. So early in the morning we set off. But at first we foolishly decided to go to the 107th km - alas, we just lost time, zero pike, not even a whiff of them. And at 11 o'clock we decided to go to the Mughan canal. That's where, on the small canals, it started: my husband had barely cast his live bait and a minute later he pulls out a pike, 20 minutes later another, even bigger, and all in the same spot. In total, in 4 hours of fishing he caught 5 - the 1st one 1 kg 400 g, the 2nd - 1 kg 200 g, the rest 900-800 g each. Our friend walked along the little canals and caught 4 at 800 g each, and that's it. As for me, unfortunately, apart from a teeny little tench and a goby, I caught nothing else.
