Kura

Hello, I decided to write a report, there haven't been any here for a long time.

Though with my talent, it's only writing. But at least it's something, otherwise the site is totally dead, and there's nobody willing to write reports either, mostly everyone just likes to read.

Despite the promised wet weather, we still got together and decided to go fishing: me, Tabriz, Igor, Shahin with his son, we all fit into the RAV.

The plan was to go to the canals not far from Isuslu and catch a catfish, getting there before dark.

So we cast our rigs, the bait was all kinds: worms, chicken giblets, fish bought at the bazaar.

Having cast the rigs we got down to dinner, everyone was in high spirits =)

We sat up till 2 in the morning, and realizing there was no bite, everyone settled down to sleep, and again we all fit into the RAV.

Someone got the VIP spot in the trunk, he kept waking up during the night cursing at us =) and trying to fall asleep again.

So, dawn, baits still in place, no catfish =(

So the choice was to go to Sherbet, or to the Kura.

In the end we went to the Kura, getting there around 12 noon,

We cast one spinning rod each and went to the car for the others, and then Tabriz shouts "the clicker!", I didn't believe him, since he jokes a lot =)

Then I look and it really is screaming non-stop, I ran before the rod got dragged away, tried to pull, no luck, like there's a jet ski on the hook =) going right, then left, you've got to feel it =), I had to let out line, I didn't have the strength. Trying to tire it out, but no such luck, it was like a tank, it went left against the current, the rod nearly snapped in half, and then suddenly slack, it came off, I reel in, we look, and the Chinese wire leader let us down, it just broke right at the knot =(

A pity, a real pity, my mood dropped right away.

So we cast all the rigs and started waiting, then I see Shahin shouting, I was about 300 meters from him, I run over to him, get there and he says it's hooked, I don't know why, but he handed me the rod, and I started tiring out the catfish, having tired it out I brought it to the bank and tell Tabriz take off your hat, put it on your hand, stick your hand in its mouth and pull it out, he reached his hand toward its jaws, then abruptly changed his mind =), and then Igor, without thinking twice, takes off his pants, walks into the water, grabs it by the gills and drags it onto the bank.

And then joy =) about 25-30 kg

But I'm sure the one that got away was way bigger.
